So who is this guy?

Alan Evans is a thinker with a thirst for learning. He's a "Jack of many trades" who brings his unique experience and perspective to analyze web-related issues. He's a consultant with a broad array of experience in web design, strategy, usability, online marketing & other "best practices." OK, enough with this writing in the third person stuff.

By day I work for Ironworks Consulting in Richmond, Virginia. Ironworks is a technology consulting firm doing outstanding work for clients such as the American Cancer Society, Capital One, Family Dollar and many more. Prior to joining Ironworks, I spent many years on the web team at the American Diabetes Association.

By night, I am known as "Daddy" to two wonderful kids and a beautiful wife. I am a culinary creature of habit, a passionate sports fan, and a lover of good comedy, old wooden boxes, and plenty of Diet Coke.
